Bible Verses for Childbirth

For thou hast possessed my reins: Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD : shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD : And the fruit of the womb is his reward.

For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
