Memory verse
When the people shouted and the trumpets blew, the walls fell down.
Joshua 6:20
Talk Together
Talk together
- What did God tell the people to do to bring down the walls of Jericho?
- How do you think they felt marching for six days while the walls still stood?
- If you have a hard “wall of Jericho,” how could you pray and ask God for help?
Prayer
Pray together
God, I learned that even what people cannot do happens when we obey Your way. When there is a big wall in front of me, help me trust You and keep obeying to the end. Give me a strong and brave heart. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Activity
Things to try
- Build a wall with blocks and knock it down with a “shout”
- March around your home seven times like circling Jericho, calling out prayer requests
- Write down one hard thing and shout together, “God opens the way!”
