Scripture describes marriage as a man and woman leaving their parents to become one flesh (Genesis 2:24). The wedding publicly vows that covenant before God and witnesses. Remember together that love is not only feeling but the will to be patient, kind, and unselfish.
Typically: entrance, hymn and prayer, the Word (officiant), the marriage vow, exchange of rings, declaration of marriage, blessing prayer and benediction, and recession. A special song or parents' greetings may be added by church and family tradition.
