For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD : And the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Cast thy burden upon the LORD , and he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD : And the fruit of the womb is his reward.

Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD ; That walketh in his ways.
